Written and Road Tests
The Class 6 Operators license permits you to operate a motorcycle or a moped. In order to qualify you must be 16 years of age and have completed and passed a written Class 6 knowledge test, vision screening, and hold either a valid Class 7 or Class 5 Alberta license.
Class 6 road tests are approximately 45 minutes long. You can schedule a road test either here online (click below), by phone at 403.520.2000, or at our Registry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED ...
Please bring your Alberta license or acceptable photo I.D along with your interim license (if you have not yet received your physical Learners). In addition your motorcycle must be in good working order, with no sidecar as well as proof of valid registration and insurance.
